Traditional Silversmithing
Richard’s extensive knowledge of silversmithing has led to Fox Silver producing outstanding work using traditional making methods. Many of Richard’s early works were painstakingly made by hand.

Bespoke Design
Richard and Serena work closely with their clients to produce work tailored to each individual’s needs. Once confirmed, the workshop launches into production, managed effectively with clear client communication at every step.

Electroforming & Plating
Electroforming is a metal forming process that uses electrodeposition to form, or grow, metal parts onto a model. Electrodeposition involves the electrochemical transfer of metal ions through an electrolyte to a surface from an anode. Fox Silver provides electroforming services in platinum, pure silver and copper.

Machine Engraving
The production undertaken at Fox Silver is carried out using both traditional workshop machines as well as CAD / CAM processes, allowing precise and highly detailed manufacturing.
04

Precious Metal Plating
Fox Silver offers precious metal plating in 24ct hard gold, black, rose and champagne gold, rhodium, and silver.
05

Commercial PUK & TIG Welding
The welding facilities at Fox Silver ensure our work holds up no matter the complexity. The workshop’s attention detail has produced some of Formula 1’s most intricate trophies, among other examples of silverware.
06

Rapid Prototyping
Not to be limited by solely traditional making methods, Fox Silver employs 3D Printing to aid in the design process through prototyping. CAD modelling means complex forms can be achieved, pushing the limits of what silversmithing is capable of.
07

XRF Testing
An X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) machine is used in testing jewellery and objects quickly. The XRF machine helps identify which elements are in the metal alloy and also the thickness of any plated surface which is essential in both the automotive and drinks industries. It is the principle method of testing metals for hallmarking and assaying.
